Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 26th meeting of the Cabinet, held on Friday, 14th August 2026, at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales.

All Honourable Members of Cabinet were present, with the exception of the Hon. Rhondalee Braithwaite-Knowles, with Khalila Astwood sitting as Acting Attorney General, H.E. Deputy Governor Williams, and Hon. A.K. Missick.

At this meeting Cabinet:

TCI Hospitals – Joint Transitional Committee

• Approved the proposed TCIG representation on the Joint Transitional Committee, the contractual process for the transition of services at the TCI Hospitals, and the requirements for the establishment of the Joint Transitional Committee.

InfraCo Arbitration

• Noted an update on the arbitration proceedings between InfraCo and the Turks and Caicos Islands Government.

Privy Council Appeal

• Noted the request for Cabinet to consider whether to proceed with an appeal to the Privy Council.
