Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 25th meeting of the Cabinet, held on Friday, 7th August 2026, at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales.

All Honourable Members of Cabinet were present, with the exception of the Hon. Rhondalee Braithwaite-Knowles, with Khalila Astwood sitting as Acting Attorney General, and H.E. the Deputy Governor, with Athenee Harvey-Basden sitting as Acting Deputy Governor.

At this meeting Cabinet:

Health Services Authority

• Noted an assessment for the establishment of a Health Services Authority.

InterHealth Canada

• Approved the mandate for negotiations between the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands and InterHealth Canada.

Grand Turk Leisure Space and Cruise Terminal

• Approved an application for a lease to construct and operate a Leisure Space Recreational Area and Cruise Terminal in Grand Turk.
