POST CABINET MEETING STATEMENT - 17TH SEPTEMBER 2026

Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 30th meeting of the Cabinet held on Thursday, 17th September 2026 at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales.  All members of Cabinet were present, with the exception of Hon. Kyle Knowles, Minister for Health, and Hon. Akierra Missick, who attended virtually. 

At this meeting Cabinet:

Public Procurement - South Base Building

Cabinet noted the award of the following contract in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act - Contract Award Notification: GTESA 01/23, TR 26/02 South Base Building (Asbestos Removal and Disposal and Demolition of Buildings).

Public Procurement - Performance Management Delivery Programme

Cabinet noted the award of the following contract in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act - Contract Award Notification: TR 25/40 Consultancy Services for the Execution Performance Management Delivery Programme.

Mortgage Corporation Working Committee

Cabinet approved the continuation of the Mortgage Corporation Working Committee for a period of six (6) months and the cessation of an appointment for a private sector representative.

Draft Immigration Bill and Regulations 2026

Cabinet approved the proposed amendments to the Draft Immigration Bill and Regulations 2026.
