POST CABINET MEETING STATEMENT - 29TH SEPTEMBER 2026
Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 32nd meeting of the Cabinet held on Tuesday, 29th September 2026 at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales. All members of Cabinet were present; with the exception of Hon. Akierra Missick, Minister for Home Affairs and Hon. Rhondalee Knowles, Attorney General, with Ms. Khalila Astwood, sitting as Acting Attorney General.

Bilateral Engagements
Cabinet noted the update on bilateral engagements with Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Commercial Office Accommodation - Providenciales
Cabinet approved the Estates Management Department entering into negotiations for the lease of commercial office accommodation in Providenciales.
Crown Land - Providenciales
Cabinet denied an application for a licence for the use of Crown land in Providenciales.
Mental Health Services
Cabinet approved associated steps for strengthening mental health services in response to escalating demand and workforce risks in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Integrated Solid Waste Management
Cabinet approved the Integrated Solid Waste Management Project Detailed Design and Implementation Framework.
Alcohol and Tobacco Import Licences
Cabinet noted the additional steps being taken by the Ministry of Border Services in relation to Alcohol and Tobacco Import Licences.
Turks and Caicos Health Services Authority Bill 2026
Cabinet noted the approval in relation to the submission of the Turks and Caicos Health Services Authority Bill 2026 to Parliament.
