Policy Statement

Turks & Caicos Islands Environmental Health Department (TCIEHD) enhance quality of life by protecting health and safeguarding environmental qualities, educating the public to increase environment awareness and implementing and enforcing the countries Public and Environmental Health regulations.

The Environmental Health Department protects communities from natural, accidental, and intentional threats and hazards in the environment. TCIEHD is responsible for ensuring the public’s health from environmental factors underlying death and disease shared across the Islands.
