Message from the Hon. Attorney General on COVID-19
March 27, 2020
The Turks and Caicos Islands continues its efforts to ensure public health safety and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. A 20-day curfew has been imposed, which commenced with a night-time curfew from 8pm to 5am on Thursday 26th March 2020; then a 24-hour curfew from Saturday 28th March at 5am until Tuesday 14th April 2020.
The Attorney General’s Chambers in accordance with the Emergency Powers (COVID 19) (Amendment) Regulations 2020, will consequently cease normal operations at the end of the working day on Friday March 27th, 2020 and will resume, unless otherwise instructed, on Monday May 4th, 2020.
In order to ensure continuity of service, during this time staff will be working from home unless it is essential for them to do otherwise. The Attorney General’s Chambers commits to continued delivery of service within agreed timelines.
