POST CABINET MEETING STATEMENT - 2ND OCTOBER 2026

Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 33rd  meeting of the Cabinet held on Friday, 2nd October 2026 at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales.  All members of Cabinet were present; with the exception of Hon. Rhondalee Knowles, Attorney General, with Ms. Khalila Astwood, sitting as Acting Attorney General.

At this meeting Cabinet:

Immigration Regulations 2026

Cabinet approved the Immigration Regulations 2026.

Bright Horizon Juvenile Rehabilitation Facility

Cabinet approved the operational framework for the Bright Horizon Juvenile Rehabilitation Facility.

Public Service Vehicle Quotas - Providenciales

Cabinet approved the regularisation of Public Service Vehicle (PSV) quotas in Providenciales to accommodate previously approved applicants.

South Caicos - Building Lease

Cabinet approved the Turks and Caicos Islands entering into negotiations for the lease of a building located on the island of South Caicos.

Contractor's Category Business Licences

Cabinet noted the Round Robin approval for the extension on the issuance of new business licences in the Contractor's Category involving non-Turks and Caicos Islanders.
