POST CABINET MEETING STATEMENT- 17TH DECEMBER 2025
Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 34th meeting of Cabinet held on Wednesday December 17th, 2025, at the Office of the Governor, Raleigh House, Leeward Highway, Providenciales.
All members of Cabinet were present with the exception of Her Excellency Anya Williams, Deputy Governor with Mrs. Athenee Harvey-Basden attending as Acting Deputy Governor.
At this meeting Cabinet:

Noted update on the Turks and Caicos Islands Government’s acquisition of a Medical Centre and agreed next steps.

Approved amendments as proposed by the Turks and Caicos National Insurance Board following its 11th Actuarial Review.

Approved the replacement of the current job titled Program Architect with the job title Project Site Manager in relation to the Grand Turk Enhancement and Sustainability Agency (GTESA).

Noted a Contract Award for the following contract as per the requirements of the Public Procurement Act:

PN 005825; TR 24/07, Digitisation of Border Services

Received a formal update on the progress of the Immigration Population Policy Council initiatives and objectives as outlined in the Terms of Reference.

Approved the re-print of the Gaming Control Ordinance 2018.

Approved the recommended options for the establishment of a temporary vending location for beach vendors.

Approved recommendations regarding Maritime Boundary Negotiations.

Approved proposal to re-deploy a deep-water platform to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
