CABINET OF THE TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS – POST MEETING SUMMARY - 3RD MARCH 2025

Cabinet Statements

Her Excellency the Governor Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 3rd meeting of Cabinet held on March 3, 2025, at the Hon Hilly Ewing Building, Providenciales. All members of the Cabinet were present.    

At this meeting Cabinet: 

  • Approved the Supplementary Appropriation Bill 2024/25 for submission to Parliament.  

  • Approved a lease agreement for the Dr. Hugh Malcolm Building to house the Supreme Court.  

  • Received an update on the Arbitration matter with InterHealth Canada. 

  • Approved actions in line with the Public Finance Management Ordinance regarding the National Health Insurance Board. 

  • Received an update from the Department of Water Undertaking on capital works and investments to address water challenges on Grand Turk.   

  • Received an update on progression of the Space X clean-up.
