The Turks and Caicos Islands National Weather Service has issued a HIGH SURF WARNING for the Turks and Caicos Islands effective from midnight on Saturday 02nd November until Sunday 3rd November, 2024.
A high surf warning indicates that dangerous waves greater that 10 feet, may affect certain coastlines, creating hazardous conditions in some areas. Waves could exceed 14 feet.
Vulnerable Areas: All northern and eastern coastlines in the Turks and Caicos Islands
Additional details: The tight pressure gradient associated with the high pressure will maintain breezy to windy conditions and rough to very rough seas through the weekend. Peak seas of 13 to 15 feet are expected north and east of the Turks and Caicos Islands through Sunday, subsiding slightly early next week.
