The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Planning in collaboration the Water Undertaking Unit within the Department of Public Works, would like to advise the residents of Grand Turk that the water mains enclosed in a manhole that services East Suburbs has been vandalized.
As a result, areas of East Suburbs, North Ridge, Breeze Brae, sections of Over back, North Creek and Cork Tree beach will experience temporary water.
We hasten to add, that our team from the Water Undertaking unit is working to rectify this situation and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
The Ministry would like to remind the Public that it is an offense to commit criminal damage to property and could lead to prosecution or a fine, if caught. The team is also asking residents to be vigilant and notify the Water Undertaking Division at telephone numbers 1 649-338-3519 or 1 649-338-3522, if they notice any leaks or any person/s interfering with the system.
