Latest News 13 April 2018

The Turks and Caicos Library Service is joining the Global Community in celebrating International Library week under the theme “Libraries Lead”.

The objective of the week is to remind the people of the Turks and Caicos that reading can help them to explore and to satisfy their need for a greater sense of purpose and meaning in their lives; to urge them to use more fully the libraries throughout the land in which the treasures of the printed word await. While the reading habits of a nation cannot be changed overnight or in one week. What we can do is open a door for many who do not know it is there, or who do not know what tantalizing rooms lie beyond.
