The Turks and Caicos Islands Government invites you to the Grand Turk Master Plan Workshop
You’re invited to join a community-wide dialogue and feedback session related to the Grand Turk Master Plan. The workshop will be focused on three key island factors:
1. Strengthening an identity
2. Preserving a culturally significant past 3. Conserving sensitive natural features
Why should I participate in this process?
This is your community. You are the experts. No one knows the island better than someone who lives, works, and plays there. The Grand Turk Master Plan Workshop is a chance for you to be a part of creating positive change, impacting the development and preservation of your island for years to come!
We need your ideas, input, and feedback to ensure that the vision reflects community values and aspirations. This involvement and feedback will help determine what projects will be most beneficial to the island, and it’s residents, now and in the future.
When:
Thursday, November 19, 2015 Open Community Workshop 6:00pm to 8:30pm Presentation starts at 6:30pm
Where:
H.J. Robinson High School Auditorium
Feel free to attend all or a portion of the workshop.
Why is this planning effort taking place?
The Turks and Caicos Islands Government is undertaking an island-wide master planning effort that will address various issues, such as natural resources and land use planning, site planning, tourism planning, transportation planning, and historic preservation and documentation.
