Sports Facility Notice - Department of Sports

This is to inform the Public of the various changes in regards to the Department of Sports offices and facilities on the various Islands.

Providenciales

Main Office - Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex, Office Hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on Mondays – Thursdays and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Fridays

Major Sport Facilities opening hours 5:30 am – 7:00 pm

  • Gustarvus Lightbourne Indoor Gym
  • Down Town Ball Park
  • TCI National Stadium

South Caicos

Main office – South Caicos Sport Complex, Office Hours 9:00 am – 3:30 pm on Mondays – Thursdays and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Fridays

Major Sport Facility

  • South Caicos Sports Complex (Playing field, basketball courts and outdoor fitness park)
    • The Sports Field is still under construction and remains closed to the public

*Please note that due to the temporary use of the Sports Building for Iris Stubbs Primary School, the facility will be closed to the public during regular school hours.

Grand Turk

Main Office – NJS Francis Park; Office Hours 9:00 am – 3:30 pm on Mondays – Thursdays and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Fridays

Major Sport Facilities

  • NJS Francis Park
  • Parade Ground (Closure coming soon due to upgrades and renovation works)

Scheduled Repairs

There will be on going repair works to various facilities listed above. In some instances, the facility will be completely closed when works commence and in other instances there will be partial use of facility. Stay tune for additional notices in this regard.

We also ask that our facilities are used in an equitable and safe manner and that users abide by the established facility rules as all rules will be strictly enforced.
