Requirements for an Extension

Subject to the immigration Ordinance, upon being satisfied that a person complies with the general entry requirements set out in Schedule 3,

An immigration officer may give leave to any person where a person does not produce to the immigration officer a permit and is a bona fide visitor, a period not exceeding 90 days which may be extended, on application (to the Director, for a further period or periods not exceeding six months in aggregate from the date of the most recent entry:

  1. Application Form
  2. Return Ticket :- (ticket must show conformation of leave for extension to be granted)
  3. Person/Persons must be present for a short interview
  4. If the application is for a visa extension that' the surety must be present with the applicant
  5. After 90 days stay, a letter of request must accompany the application stating the reason for extension
  6. If applicant is conducting business or own a home (proof needed for verification)
  7. A fee of fifty US (50.00) dollars is required if application is approved
