THE PUBLIC FORECAST FOR 6:00 AM TODAY AND TONIGHT FRIDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2020, ISSUED BY THE BAHAMAS DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY.

GENERAL SITUATION: A WEAKENING FRONTAL BOUNDARY NEAR THE SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS CONTINUES TO DRIFT AWAY FROM THE BAHAMAS MEANWHILE, PLEASANT WEATHER CONDITIONS AND A SLIGHT WARMING TREND CONTINUES ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE ISLANDS, AS A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM NORTH OF THE AREA SLIDES EASTWARDS.

SPECIAL WARNINGS: BEACHGOERS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG NORTH AND EASTERN SHORELINES.
