GENERAL SITUATION:  A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWIFTLY ADVANCE ACROSS THE ISLAND CHAIN, USHERING SEASONABLY COOLER TEMPERATURES AND FRESH TO STRONG BREEZES AS HIGH PRESSURE RAPIDLY BUILDS IN ITS WAKE THROUGH TONIGHT.

SPECIAL WARNINGS: BOATERS IN THE NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL BAHAMAS SHOULD REMAIN VIGILANT DUE TO THE THREAT OF POSSIBLE WATERSPOUT ACTIVITY IN THE VICINITY OF THE COLD FRONT. BEACHGOERS IN THE NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL BAHAMAS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG NORTHERN SHORELINES AFTER THE FRONTAL PASSAGE.

WEATHER: VARIABLY CLOUDY, MILD AND WINDY WITH ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY.

WINDS: NORTHEAST TO EAST AT 15 TO 25 KNOTS.

SPECIAL TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK: THE OFFICIAL 2020 ATLANTIC HURRICANE SEASON HAS CONCLUDED. HOWEVER, THERE REMAINS AN AREA OF INTEREST IN THE FAR EASTERN ATLANTIC. A NON-TROPICAL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES NORTH-NORTHWEST OF THE MADEIRA ISLANDS IS PRODUCING A BROAD AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW, OR 30 PERCENT CHANCE OF TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION THROUGH THE NEXT 5 DAYS.
