GENERAL SITUATION: A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED NORTH OF THE AREA WILL CONTINUE TO GENERATE MODERATE TO FRESH WINDS OVER THE ISLANDS OF THE BAHAMAS.

SPECIAL WARNINGS: BEACHGOERS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION FOR HAZARDOUS RIP CURRENTS AND ROUGH SURF.

WEATHER:  VARIABLY CLOUDY, WARM AND BREEZY TO WINDY WITH FEW BRIEF PASSING SHOWERS POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT.

ADVISORY: A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT.

WINDS: EAST-NORTHEAST TO EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 15 TO 25 KNOTS BUT DECREASING 15 TO 20 KNOTS BY THIS AFTERNOON IN THE NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL BAHAMAS.

SEAS: 4 TO 6 FEET NEAR SHORE BUT UP TO 8 FEET ALONG ATLANTIC EXPOSED SHORELINES.

WINDS: EASTERLY AT 10 TO 15 KNOTS IN THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS…15 KNOTS IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS INCLUDING THE TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS.

SEAS: 4 TO 7 FEET IN EASTERLY SWELLS.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK: THERE IS CURRENTLY ONEAREA OF INTEREST; A NON TROPICAL AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF BERMUDA IS ASSOCIATED WITH A FRONTAL SYSTEM. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW OR 30 PERCENT OF FORMATION THROUGH THE NEXT FIVE DAYS.
