THE PUBLIC FORECAST FOR 6:00 AM TODAY AND TONIGHT TUESDAY 24TH NOVEMBER 2020, ISSUED BY THE BAHAMAS DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY.

GENERAL SITUATION: A WEAK COLD FRONT CONTINUES TO MOVE QUICKLY THROUGH THE CENTRAL BAHAMAS GENERATING SOME UNSETTLED WEATHER IN ITS PATH, HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE AREA BEHIND THE FRONT WITH INCREASING WINDS.

SPECIAL WARNINGS:  BEACHGOERS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO RIP CURRENTS AND ROUGH SURF ALONG EASTERN SHORELINES.

WEATHER:  VARIABLY CLOUDY, AND BREEZY WITH FEW BRIEF PASSING SHOWERS IN THE VICINITY OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY BECOMING FAIR, WINDY AND COOL TONIGHT WITH THE CHANCE OF BRIEF PASSING SHOWERS MAINLY IN THE VICINITY OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY
