JOB SUMMARY:
This is an administrative support position, which has responsibility for secretarial and administrative support functions in the office.
Key Results Areas:
Supporting DTR’s Director efforts align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Performing market research and analysing the TCIG’s audience and its needs
- Working with management to create and plan public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance brand image and voice
- Writing publicity content such as press releases, newsletters, speeches, website copy and leaflets
- Creating and maintaining a robust relationship with the media to promote the TCIG’s image
- Coordinating promotional events and attending news conferences, press launches and exhibitions
- Monitoring and responding to feedback from the media and the public about the organisation on traditional and digital channels
- Recording media coverage and measuring impact of publicity campaigns on audience engagement
- Developing and disseminating public relations materials that increase visibility among stakeholders and law makers
- Ensuring that digital marketing content aligns with the TCIG’s brand identity and message
- Adhere to all Public Service codes, rules and regulations
- Perform any other related tasks that may be assigned.
Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:
A Bachelor's Degree in Communications or its equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in the field of mass communication, marketing or a related field;
- Knowledge of, and exposure to the Turks and Caicos Islands marketing, socialmedia and tourism market.
SALARY:
SALARY: Grade 7.1: $44,138.80 per annum plus allowances
