JOB SUMMARY:
The job holder is responsible for driving a Government vehicle to assist with the moving of people and/or materials as instructed by superiors. The job holder may at times be required to assist physically in manual labour.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive a Government vehicle (motor vehicle, truck or other assigned vehicle) to locations as directed
- Ensure timely delivery of clients or materials
- Load and unload materials from the vehicle
- Keeps a written record of deliveries where required
- Collect clients or materials as required
- Cleans vehicle inside and outside
- Maintains vehicle with simple maintenance procedures (e.g. air in tyres, refill oil)
- Reports maintenance problems to supervisor
- Adhere to all Public Service codes, rules and regulations
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.

- A minimum of two (2) years driving experience with a valid driver's licence
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual shift
Desirable:
- Experience in driving a wide range of vehicles (cars, trucks, vans)
SALARY:
GRADE 3.1 $27,383.00 per annum
