JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent in this job will attend all meetings of the Board, the three professional Councils, and the Health Appeals Tribunal, prepare the minutes of all the meetings, and keep a record of the proceedings and the decisions made. The incumbent shall receive applications for licenses and review whether they are in order before submission to the Councils, in support of the duties and functions of the Health Professions Authority (HPA).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receive all applications for the registration and renewal of practice licenses for health professionals
2. Attend all meetings; take and prepare minutes; produce and keep a record of the proceedings and decisions of each meeting
3. Assist the CEO in carrying out all duties and responsibilities
4. Liaise with the Health Regulation Authority and other agencies, locally and internationally, on relevant matters relating to the licensing of health care facilities and the registration and certification of the health professionals in the Turks & Caicos Islands
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential: An associate degree in business administration or related field
A minimum of five (5) years on-the-job experience to acquire the competencies necessary to respond effectively to the challenges of the job.
Word processing and database experience
SALARY: Grade 6.1 - $35,794.15 per annum
